Mzikampumi Eduardo Projects SPV (Pty) Ltd. (MEPS) was formed in July 2017 with the specific intent of targeting work which would not only create local employment and business opportunities for the company but would also be aligned to and supportive of the socio-economic objectives of the National Government’s inclusive economic growth and radical economic transformation objectives. 

This would include the further development of Mzikampumi Trading and Projects (Pty) Ltd (Mzikampumi) in accordance with the DTI’s Black Industrialist programme which is being accelerated over the 2017/18 period. 

• Mzikampumi (100% black owned of which 60% is BWO/BYO) 51%

• Eduardo Construction (Pty) Ltd. (eMalahleni based) 49%

 

 

The combination of Mzikampumi and Eduardo Construction is able to meet specific Black local employment and empowerment imperatives and to offer work capabilities including : 

• Mechanical Engineering Projects and Construction Management

• Fabrication including bending, rolling, cutting, profiling and specialised welding

• Mechanical erection, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of industrial plants, utility boiler maintenance, structural steel supply and erection, piping supply and installation, including high energy pipework, specialised manual welding, rigging, SHEQ, QA and QC services

• Technical training and competency assessment for Artisans, Supervisors, Safety Officers and QC Inspectors

• Transport, logistics and accommodation.
